Blue reflection second light censored11/27/2023 ![]() And if it did sound like I presented myself as such, probably shouldn't have. Secondly I might actually not be the best at scoping company's target audiences as I have several Shoujo and Josei series under my belt without knowing. But the articles do make sense of the light that indeed the recent influx of male players is like it suggest, recent. First being that my introduction to Gust was through Ar Tonelico 2 and their cooperative work at Cross Edge, which feature girls in, well, lets just say nice clothing. I still find a bit hard to believe that Gust's audience really is compromised of a female audience - but that's probably because of a few reasons. Haha, that second article made me giggle. The anime also reflects the second game more than the first so it's obvious they were trying to retool after the first flopped so hard. This game had a new director and he seems to have tried to push it in a more Atelier direction. The short form is that BR was made by men openly acknowledging their perversions but Atelier is still primarily made for girls. The headline isnt possibly work safe, as a warning However I did find this article that confirms Monterossa's claim about BR and also acknowledges the Atelier games are still targeted towards women so we're both partly correct. I did find this article about them hoping to expand the series audience with a 3ds port of Rorona įrom the bits and pieces I can find, the series started with having a heavily female audience with the Iris trilogy in particular appealing more to males and now it's about 50:50. ![]() ![]() I'm trying to find the article that talked about the demographics of the audience but time seems to have buried it a bit. As I said I think Ryza was a bit of a happy accident in that way.
